Frames and Mouldings

Historic examples ranging from American Tramp Art frames to Italian Cassetta frames form the starting points of these projects. Some are second-hand frames found in charity shops, given a new lease of life with applied carving and gilded elements. Others are made from scratch with hand joinery and applied classic mouldings like egg & dart or ribbon & stick. Bespoke frames can be made for specific artworks in any design and size.
